A polyunsaturated fat is a dietary fat (
lipid) that contains a significant proportion of [[def:Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid form:s]. A fat molecule (typically a [def:Triglyceride]) contains three fatty acids attached to [def:Glycerol], and those fatty acids can be saturated, monounsaturated, or polyunsaturated.
